Cliff Bogart CCIM is the founder and Broker/Owner of The Vanguard Commercial Group, Inc., a full-service commercial real estate brokerage services company based in Dallas, Texas.

Active commercial real estate broker, consultant, and instructor. He is a veteran of the Houston, Dallas, and Austin, Texas commercial real estate markets since 1979.
Began his real estate career with The Vantage Companies in Houston, leasing both office and warehouse properties. In 1982 he joined Coldwell Banker Commercial (now CBRE) as a broker engaging in tenant and landlord representation as well as general commercial brokerage.
In 1986 relocated with CB Commercial (CBRE) to Dallas as Leasing Director of the 850,000 square-foot Xerox Centre (current name – Urban Towers) in Las Colinas, Irving, TX.
Transferred to the Homart Development division as Senior Development Director in 1988 and made responsible for the 600,000 square foot Phoenix Tower in Houston, as well as training company personnel in leasing skills.
Following the sale of Homart in 1995, formed The Vanguard Commercial Group, Inc., a commercial real estate brokerage firm focusing and all aspects of leasing, Investor/Buyer representation, and consulting. By 2000 Vanguard Commercial had grown to be a Top 25 Commercial Brokerage company as measured by the Dallas Business Journal.
Cliff has represented numerous Investors and Users in the purchase and sale of commercial property including Office, Retail, Industrial, Multi-Family, and Land.
Between 2002 and 2005 partnered with Scribcor Texas, LLC to pursue and successfully secure a contract as the first Broker Representative for the entire State of Texas lease and Build-to-suit portfolio. During that contract period, oversaw all lease transactions and build-to-suit activity for the State of Texas portfolio consisting of approximately 1,200 leases encompassing over 11,000,000 square feet and over twenty state agencies.
In total has overseen the planning and construction (both interior and ground up) process for several million square feet.
Cliff has represented numerous Investors and Users in the purchase and sale of commercial property including Office, Retail, Industrial, Multi-Family, and Land.
Currently serving as the eXp Commercial Designated Broker for the State of Texas
In 2001 became a Texas Real Estate Commission Provider, Instructor, and Course writer.
Written and presented many Continuing Education courses on multiple topics including:

- Commercial Leasing, Lease Analysis
- Lease versus Own Analysis
- Legal Update I & II (TREC)
- Broker Responsibility (TREC)
In 2005 became an Instructor and Faculty Member for the CCIM Institute (www.ccim.com) teaching the following courses in formats that include live instruction, online instructor-led, and Blended learning

Promoted to Senior Faculty Member - 2008; Instructor of the Year 2011 – CI 103 User Decision Analysis
Obtained CDEI (Certified Distance Education Instructor) certification in 2017

Personal:

Cliff is a 1976 graduate of Michigan State University with a BA in Business. He received his CCIM designation in 1995. He has been married to his wife Cheryl since 1978 and they have four grown children. Cliff is an avid runner and fitness advocate and enjoys reading history.
